A truck with similar practicality and capability to the ridgeline, only it costs more. And comes with higher costs of maintenance and worse reliability. Who does VW think is going to buy this?

The only place to go from here; space shuttles.
They’re gonna race some trains I guess.
How many people out there want the practicality of a Honda Ridgeline, but with the high maintenance costs and reliability of a VW?
You are correct. On both points. A lot of damage was done by the tsunami. However other reefs and beaches in less visited areas of the country, have recovered.
Sweet! You hear that guys? It’s working!
That makes me happy. Having more fun, inexpensive, and reliable cars out there can only be a good thing.
As a back sweater I definitely agree with that. Cooled seats are the best!
I’m having trouble following you. The average price for a new car in the US is $33,560, pretty darn close to $35,790. Are you saying the xt4 is too expensive, or too cheap? Or are you saying that the average price is too much?
Why do you assume that’s what would make it friendly?
What has the world come to when we’re now praising Toyota for being the last bastion of hope for producing exciting, fun-to-drive vehicles? Weren’t they the ones we constantly ragged on for their boring beigemobiles?
I wouldn’t buy either of those but I am still able to understand why others do; they’re looking for something that can do everything only moderately well, yet excels at nothing. But the main reasons are reliability and ease of use.
I like the 2-tone, but that’s about it. It has the terrible over-styled look that Toyota has plagued all their new models with.
I can define what the new Cadillac halo car should be, in one sentence:
I agree. The guy is a clown. He has been in charge for 5 years and has provided absolutely no vision for the future of Cadillac. For someone who likes Cadillac, it’s hard to watch the brand be dragged into insignificance with Lincoln.
Too bad that’s the only Cadillac people even know exists.
Your point is true but I can’t the sound of his voice. Which is only made worse by the fact that his videos are now close to 30 damn minutes long.
De Nysschen has no clue what the hell he’s doing. He’s been there for 5 years and still doesn’t know what Cadillac, as a brand, should look like. The only thing he does well is point his fingers of blame at everything else.
Totally. This guy has no clue what he’s doing.
I don’t think the guy has any clue what he’s doing. He’s been there for 5 years now and the brand has no clearer definition of what it is, or what it wants to be.
