I am an editor as well, but got exactly what I thought I was getting. Maybe because I dismiss most internet headlines immediately these days and saw the video was titled “composition in storytelling” over what the headline said first. This was interesting and well done I thought and I would like to see something

I was so hoping Ward was going to get sucked into the mini monolith piece to the other planet. Maybe he still will. I still think that the astronaut might be the creature who we know can take on the form of something to trick you and is trying to get use Simmons to get shield to open the portal and release it. This

This might b a major spoiler... but it was in the preview for next week... Coulson confronts Price and locks her up until she comes clean about who she is working for. So he likely isn’t all that fooled by her. What I like about this show actually that so many things happen and come up and get resolved so quickly,

I can’t say I disliked the show, because I did. It is really bleak... but beyond that it seems to often be about not very likeable/relatable people making terrible/impossible decisions. It’s been compared to Twilight Zone and I would’t disagree entirely but I would say it’s a joyless Twilight Zone. Doesn’t make it

I love them both in their roles, if only the stories were more up to their efforts. here’s hoping this coming season does them more justice!

Going from cutting film to digital non linear editing. It literally changed everything about how films were made. I do miss cutting film sometimes... But not often!

I have to agree, I met with Quentin Crisp a few times and I kept thinking how Hurt’s performance was so spot on, you could switched the two in mid conversation and I would have never noticed.

Did I miss something the last two weeks or does it seem all the inhumans are totally OK with Sky being Jiayang’s daughter, even though a couple weeks before it was secret that didn’t dare let anyone know about?

I suddenly want to see this movie now and I didn’t before. I am sure that makes me a bad person... somehow.

I saw this in 1979 as well and people went in thinking it was going to be funny... seriously they did. You can't blame them either as you'd be hard pressed to think of a sci-fi horror film with truly terrifying aliens.

Glad to know I am not the only one. I went to Rocky in the 70s in NYC and then early 80s in Boston, I couldn't wait to see Shock treatment and while it is a mess, it's also its own thing and has great songs and cultural ideas that wouldn't become commonplace until years later (reality TV stuff). But it wasn't Rocky so

just your sanity

Sky's new electric boyfriend is super cute... but he keeps lying and keeping things from her... I have a feeling he either knows she is in for trouble or he is part of that trouble.

Funny i was wondering just this week what recurred "Tomb of Dracula" would be like as i thought even when they came out they suffered artistically from the limitations of the printing process at the time and would really benefit from a reworking of the colours in a more modern way. I have the black and white reprints

I really wan tot see this. the album " Station to Station" is rumoured to be the soundtrack for the film... at least in part and Bowie even used an image from the film on the cover. So I wonder if it will be a return to that style or something new.

I couldn't remember if they actually kissed or just got close to it, so thanks for the reminder. They came close to that with Crusher and a Trill but it freaked her out too much... in both cases they weren't really gay relationships, they were obviously trying to have some sort of compromise... much like the kiss

Liked the story and thought it did't advance the plot either, but it did advance the characters as in love people. After years of not being able to do that in star trek official, it problably served a purpose beyond the plot and maybe even they wanted to get it out of the way. There hasn't been anything like it in

Great article, I learned of a couple fan series I hadn't seen yet and just watched one... just don't read the comments on you tube ( i can't help myself but you can still be saved!) as you might expect, lots of really mean criticisms from people who haven't done a damn thing themselves in their entire lives. Don't

I did love the Star Wars movies. I saw them as they came out but I never understood the confusion about what they were supposed to be... they were based heavily on the old serials like Flash Gordon but with updated effects, sound and editing. Even the transitions, the wipes taking you from one scene to another, the
