I loved his writings, but his passing is sad to me for another reason as well. I have been working on a documentary about a comic book store he literally gave the name of one his stories to and I heard, the accompanying artwork from the EC comic of the same name. I was hoping to use it as an excuse to interview him

I knew I was missing something special... time to finally watch this. I'm thinking of watching the entire thing and really getting the impact of it.

This was one of my favourite shows but somehow I always managed to miss the very last episode! So to this day I have no idea what happened in the end. Working on settling that now though.

that was pretty awesome. Sad, but awesome. It's spot on in many ways with todays' social networks, especially how she ignores the chance to meet someone right next to her so she can connect "with friends you'll never ever meet". No, I'm not a big fan of social networking in case you're wondering LOL

I loved the Charles Nelson Reilly "scientology" episode. It was an uneven but great show.. really disturbing. Some episodes disturbed me enormously and others just scared the crap out of you. Not sure there's a movie in there though.

I agree, I've been dreading this movie and trying to convince myself it's just me being bitter and old about not being able to reboot it myself. The original is worth seeing, if you can take in account the time it was made.

they never explained WHY they had purple wigs either... when they war eon earth, they just seemed to have normal hair (well... 60's normal)

Space 1999 design sense was a continuation from Andersen's previous series "UFO" which was file with fantastic design elements. In an early episode, a moon base employee is reading "design" magazine which has the most amazing logo font. They put a lot of thought into the look of things and it shows.

we are going to paris this summer, but sadly not to EuroDisney. I'd love to see it and this new park. maybe another time...

we actually don't have the same freedom of speech rights as in the USA. Hate speech is not free speech here for example. But no matter how you look at it, this is wrong.

yes it is reprehensible in itself. That woman is responsible for any child that dies from a preventable disease, along with jenny mccarthy and all the rest of them. I couldn't live with myself spreading lies like this around, knowing the real life consequences

I ran a video store and would make the staff stop serving customers and lip sync and dance to that song. It's good to be the boss sometimes.

What? No Godzilla versus the Smog Monster?

I found this on Skeptiod very enlightening on voting and how to improve it

this explains a of stuff as a creative person I find hard to transmit to other people. Like the time and pondering thing. It takes more time working our solutions than implementing them I find.

I had a 500 and later on a 3000 I used for 3d and graphics work. I remember when deluxe paint got layers... del... on layer... but it was cool!

I don't know enough to weigh in on this subject in an authoritative way (emotionally and ethically I feel experimenting on higher primates and dolphins at this point is wrong, but I don't know the the science behind it), I do know that responders here, for the most part, are pretty interested in the solution and not

that's interesting, they had some great endings all set in the original story and play but went with this. I don't get the fear of endings that are not all happy and rainbow-y.

I thought that was hysterical! I'm sure she's a nice lady.. but really.

I live in Quebec and we are getting this craziness over wireless electric meters, put outside your house no less. The big problem is the news reporting, which never has anyone to talk about the evidence, just some "mother of 2" going on about something a friend of a friend read about somewhere. It's just to create a
