Look man, My issue with square is the last several iterations of final fantasy has been crap and there's fanboys like you that go and try to justify it by saying, "it's ok because you get to play their shit game for free and they're NOW making the game they should have released."

Its about innovation. Not subtle changes, not crappy storytelling and poor dialogue. Square has broken my heart far too many times. I expect great or nothing at all at this point.

12 was bad. 10 I didn't mind too much, there was enough distracting me from the mediocre story telling to keep me in the game.

Ya that's always a grey area. Especially with artists, I mean you hire a painter for "his" style and previous works - you expect to get just that.

The majority of these suck. Levi's and Bic are probably the most successful of the bunch. Minimalism still has to convey a strong enough message for it to be memorable.
