You know, I’m starting to support the southern secession movement. Because, while I think it’s treasonous to suggest un-uniting the United States, I think I would enjoy watching them wallow in their own shit for a while until they recognized the error of their ways.

I was in Paris six weeks ago. It was my third visit and the first with my mother and my children. Because I’d lived there many years ago, I didn’t think I had *too* many unrealistic, romantic notions about the city, but I was still looking forward to showing my family the magic of Paris.
