I am that way with some cheeses. I hate both cheddar and American cheese. (Oddly blue cheese and some other funky cheeses are good). But I rarely order omelettes in a restaurant because no matter how clearly I state “no cheese” it will likely come back loaded with cheddar cheese.

I also see a lot of restaurants that have signs up supporting refugees or saying in multiple languages that all people are welcome there.  There are overt ways to signal your politics without challenging people to walk in with a MAGAdouche hat.

I would think that people from Missoula could handle anything.  You guys should be able to drive across Antarctica and say hello to the penguins.

I have a bunch of family there. They close the interstate using gates if it gets too bad—typically if the conditions make them dangerous to plow.
