I think there have been a couple of instances (although I can’t remember the specifics) when I wasn’t interested in a show until after they changed the images.  I know that I don’t watch shows that just have a picture of a bunch of white men.

Chunky peanut butter all the way. I love the complimentary textures of chunky peanut butter, a nutty, yet soft oatmeal bread, and fruit preserves or honey. One advantage of chunky that I don’t see mentioned is that it doesn’t stick to the roof of your mouth like smooth peanut butter does.

From my days of restaurant work, suggestions 2 and 4 were the most useful.  Also, master what so many women have mastered, the “anyway...” smile.  You know the one.  It says, “this isn’t a topic of conversation, but if I use my words, you will become angry, so I am giving you this smile.”
