All of this does explain why CBS’s line up sucked so badly for the last 20 years. I watched a couple seasons of CSI, but other than that, I cannot think of a single show that I have watched on that network since the turn of the century.

I have never understood the appeal of Fallon.  He has always struck me as the annoying kid from school who constantly sought attention from classmates then tattled on them to the teacher.

I have never been into older men, but Sam Elliot is dreamy.  He has a casual, easy-going sexiness that most men in Hollywood never get close to achieving.

I am so torn.  Do the charms of Sam Elliot outweigh the bro-iness of Bradly Cooper?  I might have to wait and see what the reviews are before I decide whether or not to see this movie.

I went to Twitter yesterday and saw that Norm MacDonald was trending. I thought maybe he died. Nope. He was just driving a nail into the coffin of his career.

Under the Shadow is so good. Anyone who likes the Babadook should watch Under the Shadow to see what a good, scary movie with similar themes looks like.

I feel like she has been around forever.  She must have been a teenager in more movies than I realized.

I would also take Iran in the time leading up to and during the fall of the Shah. Or any assortment of shows about the women pirates and warlords of SE Asia in previous centuries such as Ching Shih. Speaking of pirates, I would watch the hell out of a show about Grace O’Malley and her ilk.

I think part of it is that grocery stores have gotten so much better. I remember in the 90s having to search an entire city just to find the ingredients to make tiramisu. Now, I live in a small town, but I could get the ingredients in my neighborhood store.

That is what gets me. Thanks to the internet, I keep seeing stories about amazing women all around the world who did things. Big, bold, adventurous, piss of entire continents of men things.

I tend to not like them because they are like the worst parts of jr. high. They are about clothes, and not letting everyone know how poor you are, and manipulating the people around you so you seem popular, and being hurt because the boy that you can’t express yourself to loves someone else.
