I love The Dispossessed. I didn’t read it until a few years ago, and it blew me away. People hold up the Left Hand of Darkness, Earthsea, or even the Hanish Chronicles as her best work, but in my opinion, it is the Dispossessed.

Seriously. When I lived in the Midwest, they had no problem issuing or retracting tornado warnings. Where I live now, I can’t get through an episode of Jeopardy without the school snow report scrolling across the screen. TV is still relevant in real time.
