Wow! Christmas came early!

I didn’t realize that, either, and I am not that young.

Oh yes. Cake can either be pretty or it can taste good, but almost never both. But cakes that taste good don’t get any attention in Instagram.

Cake has become either red velvet (yuck) or about how pretty it looks. Pie is more about flavor and it feels homier to me.

My husband was like that. Then found a recipe on Epicurious for buttermilk pie crust that is easy and forgiving. I still make almost all of our pies, but I love this crust recipe and use it for everything.

10/10 would eat.

That first woman’s pies were so creative, not just in look, but in the types of flavors she is putting together. I feel fancy if I add maple syrup or bourbon to my pies. Unlike all of the cakes that I see online, those pies look like they would actually taste good.

This is fascinating. It is also the type of movie that will never be shown in my small-town theater. I would love to see Jezebel run a monthly article about all of the feminist shows that are available for streaming. Heck, you could call it the Women’s Monthly Stream.

I agree. My husband and I work with a financial advisor, and we have to remind him that we don’t invest in oil or gas companies, no matter how profitable they are, and it is his job to find us companies that we approve of. This is a tool for that type of investing.

Can we replace it with a show called “Witch Hunters” that is about a coven of witches who hunt down sexual predators and other scum?

I have no opinion on the backpack, but I love my Big Agnes SL sleeping bag for bike touring. I went with a women’s specific one so it has more insulation at the feet and other areas where we need it. I have been camping my entire life, and it is the most comfortable sleeping bag I have ever used.
