I have always found Channing Tatum to be rather bland, but damnit, he is determined to make me a fan.

The appropriate thing would have been to reach out to her privately instead of a public, qualified CYA. Reach out privately and say, “I’m sorry if I was a jerk. I never should have done that.” Full stop. No blathering about how she misremembered or making excuses.

It is really common for bullies to not remember what they have done because it doesn’t mean anything to them. They were “just having fun” and weren’t the one who was traumatized. I have read several accounts of people who confronted their high school or junior high tormentors, and the people often don’t even remember

Don’t feel bad. My husband will be gone for a week next month, and I am looking forward to it. Everyone needs alone time.

Same. I tried melatonin once. I didn’t sleep that night, but the next day I felt horribly hungover and all I wanted to do was sleep.

You seem to have a very unhealthy idea of what a marriage is.

I think this is more an issue of not being able to take maternity leave and being expected to work long, demanding hours while pregnant. He was willing to stay home and take care of the kids (and missed out on a lot of social activities while she was in med school and doing her internship because he wanted her to be

Maybe it was bad soup. Like it had too much salt or something.

The issue is that we lose out of a lot of potential talent that way. Someone might be a compassionate, skilled, insightful physician. She might be the one that finally diagnoses the problem that has been making you feel like hell for years. But we will never know because the profession forces out women who want to

I have a friend whose wife didn’t decide to go to med school until after she found out that they couldn’t have kids. She was already a pharmacist, so it isn’t like she didn’t think she could handle the education. She just didn’t think it would ever be practical to be a physician and a mother.

I am starting to feel like I have gone to my high school reunion only to be pleasantly surprised by watching the bitchiest popular girl from school get up on stage, trip over the microphone stand, and fall on the floor with her dress around her waist.

I am surprised that the network hasn’t paid her to go away yet.

I would probably giggle like a 13 year old with a crush if I met him.

They will berate him on Twitter, then fawn over him and ask for his autograph in person.

I hadn’t realized that he was an artist. I thought he just liked playing one on Brooklyn 99.

The great thing is that he talks about those things in male spaces. He isn’t like so many men who expect women to sit in awe of how woke he is. He goes to men’s groups and talks about the importance of feminism and the dangers of toxic masculinity.

I know that Terry Crews has a reputation for being a nice guy, but I can’t fathom the amount of nerve it takes to assume that he is going to have complete control over his reflexes and not crush your skull. The man is massive and solid muscle.

She is only leaving him because he got caught and this is her best shot at a profitable divorce settlement. This is no different than Google firing the engineer for saying that women weren’t smart enough to do his job. The issue is the embarrassment and the potential loss of income, not the crime.

This is so true. My boss doesn’t normally do small talk with anyone but her favorites. So if she starts a conversation with small talk, you know that she is trying to get your guard down before jumping down your throat. Yeah, it’s a healthy working environment.

Considering how big studio budgets are, there are probably large discretionary funds set up, and it is assumed that there will be a certain amount spent on lawsuits. They probably only had to approve or even notice settlements above a certain dollar amount. Not that this absolves them in any way, but I am not sure
