hehe... The Jeep is just what I picked for this contest because of the transfer case. ;) It’s the only “SUV” I have. My second choice would probably be my girflfriend’s Mazda 323 (very light).

Jesus that was long! My response is gonna be a little shorter. ;)

Can’t say I blame you on that one. DDing some old iron is a risky thing no matter what. Too bad, GTOs are among my favorites.

I’ve told the story on here before about how my buddy finally put lap belts in his ‘31 JUST for doing donuts after he found himself in the passenger seat with the car running and still in gear. At 2200lbs, 400hp, and a denim roof there’s no damn way I want strapped to it.

True enough.. I got excited and posted bad info. Thanks for the correction.

Yep... Almost every time they just get rusted up and need a good clean/grease job.

I always want my container back since it’s a nice 5 gallon oil restitant one. It’s not that big of a deal form me now that I found a place that takes it. It was just a pain in the ass for awhile.

...right until you catch a wasp in your hair. Good times!

‘59 has no seat belt at all, which was actually what I was replying to.

So do all sorts of other social ills that we don’t legislate against.

I agree it’s tragic, but that has got to be so far out on the fringe that I’m not too worried about it.

I guess you don’t know what the word “some” means.

No, I’m 8 and learned all about cars from GTA.

Doesn’t work. It’s instantly visible when they start to pour it out and then they stop and bitch and hand it back to you. Tried doing that 3 times before I found a place that would take it.

Credit where it’s due, that’s a good point.

I knew of the Hot Rod involvement with the yellow car, but I thought all three were the same anyhow.

It was always a worry about probable cause. I made 2 comments and I’m not sure which you’re replying to.

People who drop out of high school, screw up good marriages, mess up their credit, and on on can all have the same things said about them.

Then I say let that remain to be the choice of the driver. It makes no sense to make it the law. With the video I linked as evidence I can tell you that I would NEVER wear a seatbelt in a ‘50s car (and several other non-50s cars that are unique for other reasons). Not so much for thinking I’d be thrown clear and be

Ok.. Cell phone use, I get that as being a problem.
