If your definition of "modern" means circa mid 2009, sure. That's about when the hardware in the XB1 was considered "decent". I can buy a $150 video card that gives better graphics than the XB1, and build a complete system that shatters it in performance for $400. Strictcly from a hardware standpoint, that is.

I honestly don't get why people hate the scene. It clearly is supposed to play out exactly this way. It's like people don't like it because it is super awkward and don't realize that's exactly what they were aiming for.

A lot of people say that this new craze by the often misguided 'social justice' crowd won't actually change anything in real life. This clearly shows that they are wrong. It has already started affecting choice, and the quick capitulation of a major retailer to their demands is highly worrying.
