Funny Games is wholly fucked up.  I don’t know how I made it through the whole thing the first time.

What a turd.

It is insane how much more productive I am since I switched to WFH. And my quality of life has simultaneously increased significantly.

and the media is feeding that narrative to him by constantly sticking a camera and microphone in his face.  his opinions are shit and the media should stop asking for them.

“Work seven days like he does”. LOL OK twitter warrior

For me, the absolute last thing I want is work friends. You’re lucky I bother to learn your name.

even though he only takes about two or three days off per year.”

Also questionable.

Elon Musk makes billions of dollars a year working. Nearly no one else does. Is that morally wrong?

Says someone who didn’t pay his office rent.

Please Universe, remove this man from this time line.

Musk is a psychopath that is fully convinced he is now a God and center of the universe.

I get to sit down all day when I work. Factory workers often don’t. Is that morally wrong? I get to work in a relatively quiet, semi-private environment. Factory workers don’t. Is that morally wrong?

Except the family’s dog at the end. I’ve often wondered what kind of knock-down-drag-outs were had with the producers insisting there be some single ray of light at the end.

The novel (and then the movie) strengthened my resolve that if (gulp...when?) civilization fails, I will be seeking out the tallest and most lethal-looking building to jump off.

I was on the other side of the country, my wife and son home alone, when I watched Funny Games. THAT was a sleepless night.

Yeah I got to the part in the movie where they find like a bunker behind a house and I quit there. Gonna pretend that’s how it ends. Found shelter and supplies.

Ditto. My whole opinion of Cormac McCarthy at this point comes down to, “Why the fuck should I do that to myself?”

same.  I read it originally when my son was like 5 and I couldnt stop thinking about it for at least a week.  Never seeing the movie.

Not sure why this matters, even if it’s true. The committee is 11-10 D-R. On any important issue she’s always going to be the deciding vote. Who cares if she can vote remotely on something that will already get out of committee with or without her because a Republican is already on board.

If you combine the faces of Johnny Depp and Maiwenn you get Steven Tyler.
