For LW #3, was I the only one to pick up on the clue she may be hooked on dude’s dick? I mean, HUNG? Seems kind of obvious. It certainly doesn’t seem to be about his winning personality.

My MIL, trump-humper of the highest order, reposts Candace Owens bullshit on a daily basis...alongside Tucker and Laura Ingram, natch.
I had a friend with a similar issue, also working for a very large corporation, and someone had miskeyed her 10 hours of OT as 100 hours of OT. She chose not to say anything, but she was always ready for them to approach her about it. She moved that money into a savings account and let it sit for three years before…
Disappointed to find out this review was spot on and had been hoping it was maybe a little harsher than warranted. We gave this a go last night and it was just...ok. The laughs were primarily in the first half and even those mostly petered out for the last third of the movie.
Even while feeling fully sympathetic for a woman who lost her husband of over 70 years, this made me fucking cackle.
Possibly too generous, but I may be too ready to be critical of him because I already think he’s a disingenuous piece of garbage.
Agreed that he took this step when he had nothing to risk by just letting the moment pass, but I did find his comment about “cancel culture” vs what he was doing as unnecessary. Bringing that to the conversation is an open wink, wink to exactly those who would argue he has nothing to apologize for.
I have a new song to listen to now - thanks!
With the exception of Peloquin, none of the monsters quite perfected the look I expected after reading Cabal. Having said that, I still loved this movie for the source material and now that I’m aware there’s an extended cut, I can’t wait to watch the shit out of it.
Cardi B did open up the performance above with “wet & gushy”, but only in that first line. It went to “wet, wet, wet” after that.
I’ve lost an entire branch of my family to Q. They used to be my hard partying fun aunts and cousins who maybe weren’t very smart, but were generally good hearted and extremely family oriented. They’re in a different state than me and I haven’t seen them in person since I discovered they’re all in on the Q train. I…
I literally booked a flight to Texas an hour before he made this announcement yesterday. Did I want to wait until October when I’ll be back in the state for a wedding or did I just have to go see my stepmom’s new place at the end of March? Fuck me for making the wrong call.
For your sanity and because you seem to have a good heart when it comes to shelter dogs, never check the Pets section on Craigslist.
As a kid, a Chuck E Cheese birthday party was always a hit, but by the time us girls got to be around 11 or so, it became increasingly uncomfortable to be around the older guys who were there purely to skeeve on young girls.
I may have that extended version that came out, because Peter is a toddler and I think Frannie is pregnant again in their last scene in my book. They’re posted up at Mother Abigail’s farm in Nebraska and soon to be headed for Maine.
I always read it the same way - Frannie, Stu, and their kids, as well as whoever they may pick up along the way, will likely continue traveling. They’ll go to Maine, set up shop for a bit, then head back to Boulder, then away, etc.
Visually, this is sheer perfection. The outfits, the nails, the hair, it’s all perfect and I’ll probably watch this at my desk off and on throughout the day. The twin line is hands down the best and I nodded with enthusiasm. She’s not wrong.
My ME1 replays haven’t been as fruitful without my ex-husband to kill the thresher maws for me, but with repeated attempts, I can usually kill all but one of them. It’s my favorite of the trilogy, all the same, but ME2 is a tight second and I never understood the hate.
Ohhhhh, this looks GOOD! Did you find it was less effective watching at home rather than in a theater? This will have to be a home viewing for me, once its available, and I’m a little disappointed.
