I still check her blog* for updates every now and then. When I invariably find there are no new entries, I go back and read them all again, laughing as much as I did the first time I read them. I will absolutely buy this book.

Funny Games fucked me up for weeks. I used to have a crush on Michael Pitt as a result of those low riding vinyl pants he wore in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, but after Funny Games, I can’t even look at him.

I mostly agree, only because I’d love to spend a week watching it, but most of his adaptations fall pretty flat.
