Upvoted for the accurate Jonestown reference.

Except thy already announced the next Spiderman movie with Tom Holland in the role. So, yeah, it takes away from the gut-punch.

It wasn’t.

1. Navy Blues

I have no argument with that. The live version of Money City Maniacs on 4 Nights is my favorite version.

Sean O’Neal makes a great case for Lodger. I concur.

Ok one more:

Elvis Costello - Imperial Bedroom

Beyond Belief —> Tears Before Bedtime —> Shabby Doll

Two 3-song rins from the same De La Soul album (Buhloone Mindstate) for your consideration:

1. Eye Patch —-> En Focus —-> Patti Duke

2. I Am I Be —-> In the Woods —-> Breakadawn

Truth. While we’re at it:

Feeling Gravity’s Pull —->Maps and Legends——>Driver 8

Those are all very fine choices.

Cheers! If you’re ever in DFW area of Texas, hit me up.

Talking Heads-Speaking in Tongues:
Burning Down the House —-> Making Flippy Floppy —-> Girlfriend Is Better

You beat me to it, but I completely concur.

Begin the Begin

I buy CDs, too. I prefer physical, tangible media.

Me too (about listening to them all week). Although I really like Commonwealth, especially Jay and Chris’s sides. I like Patrick’s side just fine, and I may be alone in this, but Andrew’s single song side totally works for me.

From my perspective, Between the Bridges and Navy Blues are their very best records.

I get what you’re saying, but for me that’s like saying Let It Be is bottom half of the Beatles catalog. Because, true, but...

Sloan’s latest album is out this week as well, and it’s glorious. That they should be this strong 25 years into a career with 4 different songwriters astounds me.

Luckily for me, liberal pissbaby is a field for which a doctorate literally doubles your pay. So I’m in high cotton.

Really well, thanks. It’s actually a doctorate, so you can call me Dr. Pissbaby, dipshit.
