Hmmm I’ll admit I was not expecting the Republicans anti-China stance to overwhelm their anti-Mulsim stance. (And, no, I do not for a second believe they actually care about the atrocities being committed).

So I assume that any minute now, these Senators will be demanding that the White House lift the travel ban on Muslims, allow Muslim students who had valid visas to come back to America to study, and generally stop being shitbags towards Muslims like Rep. Ilhan Omar?

Or maybe demand that we stop housing and caging…

Sitting members of the United States Senate publicly applying pressure to a private company over the content that company chooses to publish tiptoes riiiiiight up to the edge.

Pot calling kettle black.  That’s all this is.

They don’t care about mistreatment of Muslims in China. They care about “scoring points” against China.

Because they think it’s politically advantageous to look tough on China, and they get to claim they care about human rights.

I hope Netflix asks those senators what they’re doing about the atrocities occurring here in the United States. Ask those senators what steps they’re taking to ensure that the tragic death of Breonna Taylor doesn’t happen to someone else. What are doing about the countless people being held by ICE.

For real, aren’t these the same assholes propping up a President whose administration is doing the exact same thing to the people on our southern border?

There’s a long list of things Republicans object to right up until it’s them that are doing it. Suddenly all manner of justifications and excuses arise.
