I don’t mind it in my mercedes specifically for the gas reasons. but yes. the worst is when i pull into a parking space and pause for a second, engine shuts off, put it in park, foot off the brake, car turns back on, i hit the start/stop button to turn it right back off. 

My wife’s Merc has that, so I added my own profile where it’s disabled.  Such a blast to pull up to a light in August and all of a sudden the A/C cuts out.

Generally articles such as these promote an impractical sterile mindset about food. The reality is that there’s a degree of acceptable filth in our food. Imagine how expensive food would be if it were all perfect or sterilized. The acceptable yield would be so small and we’d have a incredibly small food supply.

I’m a little confused by the garnish one. It gets put into a glass that you drink from. Wouldn’t you be at risk just using that glass (from the glass itself, the liquid that has now touched the garnish or from the garnish touching your lips when you take a drink)?
