How is giving someone that needs a car an additional $750 not helping?

I’m a little baffled as to why we expect car companies to offer discounts in the first place. Sure it’s a nice thing to do, and sometimes companies do nice things, but to shun a company for not giving a good enough discount?

This is a better tribute than a police retraining program.

If you’re not willing to wear a helmet while operating a car/truck/tractor/bicycle/horse/racing snail/etc. then you really have no business nannying a motorcyclist who chooses to let the wind flow through their hair.

Except the car itself provides the protection (if you’re wearing a seatbelt) when you’re driving. That’s why helmets aren’t required for driving!
