greenhouse could have been from one of the LH sedans.

I was always into Streamline (more specific than art-deco as most call it). I was in school for Industrial Design at the time it came out, so it coincided with a lot of what I was learning about the history of design from Raymond Loewy and others.

Our company, at the time they were still in production, had a consultant that would rent one whenever he came to town. That was about the only first hand experience I had with them, but I do remember how tiny that trunk was, He joked he could barely fit his briefcase in it.

Really? wow, that blows. Too bad it didn’t survive into the Fiat years, not that I’ve been crazy about most of their recent stuff, but at least it might have received the pentastar 3.6 as a standard engine, that would have bumped the base up to a 283hp motor. And who knows, maybe they’d have used the miata/124

So, I guess I’m not getting the contract then.....

I wonder if NEST will be getting an upgrade.

If those had been my kids, that idiot wouldn’t have taken two steps out of the car waving his hands before he was face down on the pavement. Idiocy is one thing, but child endangerment is another thing all together.

I probably didn’t help the average. I lasted about 3 days.

Too bad it wasn’t preserved, it would have made a great playground piece similar to what these guys produce. http://monstrum.dk/en/#grid

Rodney Dangerfield.

My first car was a 4-door ‘75 Dart. Was never excited about it when I first got it. It only had a slant 6, but I couldn’t afford anything better so I worked on it, eventually dropping in a 318 with some high compression heads, cam and 4 barrel, and putting on some nicer wheels. Later I redid the whole suspension,

With that budget, you could do a very nice makeover of a classic Mopar A-Body with a late model Hemi. Get the great looks of the older cars without the enormity of the bigger muscle cars and the performance and economy of the newer Challenger or Chargers. There’s plenty of suspension upgrades out there to make these

It’s the IAD Alien, pretty cool design, though never a running prototype. the engine would be rear mounted and modular. It was intended to be swapped out quickly to allow for different drivetrains or performance enhancements.

For your next concept car article assignment....

Roller paint it

Tell me about it....

The whole museum is one guy’s collection, he’s a big Lotus nut and has several vintage models.
