I’ve been working on similar battlefield robotics, but only in toy form.
with a big enough run up and a little bit of a ramp, they can go a pretty good ways off road.
I like it more as a kill-switch deterrent.
Actually dates back to the 50s. But one of my favorite concepts.
I’d like to suggest an alternative approach.
Maybe digital limitations in watching. At work, low bandwidth, etc.
I blame the smog equipment on mine... Next Dart I get will be pre-cat requirements.
I wish I could say the same of my 75 Dart with Slant 6 1bbl, Don’t think I ever topped 17mpg in that, only had a 13 gallon tank and no working gas gauge for added fun and constant fillups.

So far I’ve had a 3.8 and a 3.3. Between those two, I’d never buy another 3.3, but the 3.8 is a pretty good engine with a fair amount of grunt with around 210hp. Ok, ok, not “Blue Law”, Thought I’ve heard it given a color related name before at least here in TN, maybe Blue Light Law or something. Maybe you’re only supposed to move over on Sundays or something.
What’s worse, What does he expect to happen if he hits that one guy with an open face mask? I put these on my cars. It’s not the 4 lane roads that bug me, it’s getting tailgated on 2 lane, curvy roads with no shoulders when you’re already doing 5-10 over. I may not brake check, but I’m not going to speed up to satisfy someone else’s impatience. Tailgating is just another form of bullying.
