I wonder where they got the idea...

The guy sounds so relaxed, it’s crazy. I get why they were surprised.

So how did they have the video on hand? had he posted it to their site first or sent it to them? I would hate to have a video of my car being washed away go viral before i’m even rescued.

“ Bond flipping the DBS while chasing after Vesper’s captors was actually filmed on Aston Martin’s private track and testing grounds.” http://www.millbrook.co.uk/About-Millbroo… Millbrook is an Independent proving grounds.

I had a 91 Cutlass Calais given to me for free when I was in grad school (2003). It appeared in pretty descent shape but It supposedly had bad CV joints, The previous owner (my wife’s step-dad) didn’t want to spend the money to have it done, and figured if I wanted to, i could do the work myself. It ended up being a

Yes, but, the US did produce this mobility vehicle.

better start keeping some aircraft cable handy.

Someone who buys this, unfamiliar with the Rotary, is going to be met with sudden disappointment with they lift this lengthy hood expecting to see some massive powerplant.

Overall, it is an elegant design, but there’s something in this area that seems weak to me.

I went graduated from a pretty well regarded Industrial Design program about 10 years ago. Our department head, ironically, drove one of these. I was amazed to go back for a visit earlier this year to find he was still driving it. You have to give these things credit, you might be able to bend the door frame back

Normally I wouldn’t say this, but with a rotary I’d be curious how a hybrid would do. The electric drive would allow for better low-rev driving and easing off the line at stop lights. I’m no rotary expert by any means, but I’ve attempted to drive one (only had a permit at the time and had never driven stick) and could

I do, but it’s in the middle of a tear down. I quit driving it after our 2nd child was born and I had to get a real car. I was already taking unnecessary chances driving with 1 kid strapped in the middle.

Not going to say it is a great car, but I do have a lot of fond memories with mine. It was my grandfather’s and he drove it from nearly new (bout it a year old) well into his 90s as a beater for around town and hauling his model airplanes out to the airfield. So it’s purely out of nostalgia i hold onto it. Kinda like

I’ll also include any car with drum brakes on all 4 wheels, especially on long descending roads or in rain (drums collect water, where disks simply sling it off). I wasn’t driving fast, but did lose my brakes on the Pikes Peak highway in my dart, luckily 1 gear held out and we made it down safely. Driving in rain

And think about what it was like back when the average car on the road looked like this.

Bone stock, any 70s Japanese import not originally built as a sports car, is a bit terrifying when driven briskly on a windy road (still fun though), let alone in traffic on an interstate. They’re so lightweight and underpowered that you get blown around by any passing car (or motorcycle for that matter) and having an

That was the designer’s point, since Bugatti is owned by VW. Just fitting to have a super “bug”.

could have done this.....if you’re going to be dated, be vintage.

Right. To me, it’s the headlights, they scream 90’s left over. It’s got this bulbous flashy body, and the plainest looking headlights. Seems like that one thing that in the 5 years of development, that they could have re-visited before production.
