Early in my dad’s AirForce career he was stationed at Minot with the MinuteMan II program, which included transport, safety inspections and manning the silo. I grew up hearing all sorts of stories about the MMII’s and how different (relaxed) security was with nukes back then compared to today. Fun stuff...
