Remember Pogs?

It’s not a scam. It’s up to a creator how they want to distribute their art.

Is this where I forgive Sam Raimi for “For the Love of the Game?”

“I don’t go a day in my life without seeing someone wearing a Ghostbusters T-shirt”

First music, then Game of Thrones, and now this. What does Ed Sheeran not completely ruin when offered the chance?

I’m very happy to see in this thread that people are coming around to how much of a pile of shit the first one was. At the time I remember thinking - this is what would happen if you hired a college dorm to write a script.

So quitting a minimum wage job mid-shift is the best headline you could pull out of the interview? Doesn’t really scream “read me” since that pretty much explains everyone I knew in high school. Or Mary Steenburgen in Melvin and Howard.

Happy to see Yul Brenner working again.

Will Farrell “couldn’t, in good conscience, stand by something he wasn’t proud of just because he’d be making big bucks from it.”

I “stopped” when I clicked the publish button, ya dumb dick.

There never was a “Real World: Los Angeles”

As penance for saying I didn’t like something on the internet I watched some of his standup. I didn’t laugh, but I didn’t hate it. Still, something about his delivery just kills it for me.

I’m pretty sure I never mentioned race.

On the one hand, I’m happy this is being addressed. On the other hand, I cannot fucking stand Trevor Noah. I don’t know if it’s his “where am I from?” accent or his delivery or the anti-comedy promos they run on Comedy Central. I wish I could get over it for my own well-being.

I attended a Mountain Goats show in 2006 or 2007 and it was the worst live performance I’ve seen. Not because of the band - the band was great for the 30 seconds or so that I could hear them. It was awful because it seemed like every fan in attendance had to shout along to every song, drowning out Darnielle. It sucked.

Shut up, nerd.

Chekov’s gun? Chekov was navigator on the enterprise - he barely left the ship much less used a gun.

That was goddamn genius and absolutely intentional.

Agreed. I left the episode thinking the “living funeral” thing was something that would fit with Marty Funkhouser, as would the COVID hoarding. I wish they would, at the very least, address his passing in an episode. Have they even dedicated an episode to his memory yet?

For John Hughes, middle age was around 28.
