You don’t think it matters to know the truth? If VW is a sponsor (or has any kind of relationship with Jalopnik), then you should disclose that...and leave it up to the readers to decide if it is influencing your articles or not. This is a standard in journalism...is it not? Unless, of course, you don’t think that

Is that an opinion or do you know for sure it’s Jalopnik’s policy? Why doesn’t it work that way?

I remember 10 years ago when VW was caught in corporate spying on GM. They paid a very small price for that. Cheating is apparently in VW’s culture. ANd they deserve to get the maximum monetary penalties. Also, this is a willful and deliberate act...which makes it criminal. It is not enough for VW to pay the fines...

Why aren’t you?

You must not understand what I was saying. So, they state the VW issue in another article AND THEN create an off-shoot “Top Ten Worst things in Automotive History” and purposefully does not include the VW issue.... as if to say: “Yeah, the VW issue was bad, but here’s a top 10 list of the worst things in Automotive

SO what if it’s an offshoot... it is misleading. If you are going to create a list... then have everything belong to the list that deserves it.

You don’t think Volkswagen emissions testing hack isn’t on the top 10? They are going to be fined $18 billion. The company KNOWINGLY and WILLFULLY built in software to detect when testing is happening and the car will spew levels of emissions that will pass. In the real world, it spews 40 times what is being recorded.

One was shot down over Serbia by obsolete S-125 missiles. How advanced could it have been?

I have home automation. Can you Cortana turn the lights on?

histotech works on tissue samples. Cytotech works on cell samples. that’s all I know

I worked in a lab for more than a decade. Not as a histotech, but rather as a Laboratory tech. Specifically, microbiology. I have since moved on to do IT work and now work as a Software analyst, supporting Laboratory Information Systems.

The first one always sucks. Watch for the apple watch II to have a a camera for some in your face “face time”.

There are just people who would disagree regardless of right or wrong. This is when philosophy fails. How do you deal with the unreasonable?

I would have guessed race issues as the #1 most uncomfortable issue to talk about. But I guess it is too uncomfortable to talk about.

Seriously, this is a problem for people?

I am no expert but I always look for the little hairs that come with new tires. If I don't see 'em , I don't buy 'em.

WHat?!! Southwest is not included on the list???!!

this law was intended to prohibit copying of software. But most unlock their phones not to copy material from the phone but rather to use another carrier. So, the law is not really arguing that it is illegal to use another carrier, is it? So, if we can only separate the unlocking of a phone from the security of

once the subsidy has been paid by the buyer, shouldn't he be able to do whatever he wants with the phone? It's not the unlocking that is bad, but rather getting off the contract before it is due. And even if I decide to get off the contract before it is due, I am liable for the penalty anyway. So, no matter what, I

For NYC, the payoff is not the rental income but rather the profit from selling the apartment. Price rates of real estate are higher in cities like New York. Your apartment will probably double in value faster than in any other city. You rent out your apartment to pay for the mortgage, maintenance and taxes. But the
