Much like the Mass Effect 3 ending debacle, Mr Hudson’s preferred approach is deflection. “You did X in your article, so your article is invalid”. For Mass Effect 3, the shielding argument was the game’s awkward inclusivity (some of his and other higher-ups arguments literally boiled down to "you hate the game because

As long as legacy game ownership bonuses work across storefronts, I don’t really give a cramp.

I was surprised to learn that they took over making Tenchu games when the series came to PS2 onwards, so it's not like they haven't done this before. A lot of people seem to forget that From were renowned long before they made Demon's Souls.

I wouldn't say there's a shortage of Zarya, judging by the number of GIFs, pics or vids where she's the one doing the dicking to someone else. It's just that there's SO MUCH Tracer or Mercy stuff that it drowns out anything else.

Harp as we might on BioWare for screwing the pooch with Mass Effect 3 (depending on when you played the game, they effectively rewrote the ending three times - adding the Leviathans changed the Greater Scope villains, the Extended Cut fixed the consequences but still fucked the free will issue, and Citadel acts like

The article pretty explicitly states that Kassandra enters a domestic relationship with Natakas regardless of player agency. That pretty strongly falls under “taken away”.

And the cavalcade of cribbing from Battleborn continues. After Moira and Wrecking Ball, I shouldn’t even be surprised, but I somehow still am.

The whole time I was reading, I had to tell myself "she lived to write this, and this was allowed to be published, so I assume grievous bodily harm did not occur" to calm down and keep reading, but hot damn. This was harrowing to *read*, imagine how harrowing it was to *live* through this.

To be fair, while they punished you for it something fierce, this had been a viable gameplay approach since the original Hitman Codename 47 all the way back in the Stone Age, and 90% of the weapons in every Hitman game existed practically for this reason.

Doesn’t this look like Borderlands: Before Everything Went To Shit On Pandora?

Could it be... Because there is no character that interests and appeals to them?

All these words and you fail to bring up that the PS1 port of the original Diablo had this problem solved in a much smaller resolution by making the menus split-screen as well?

To be fair, it’s a free game from a YouTube channel normally focused on building semi-playable “what if Game X was on the PS1?” demos to make demake gameplay videos of. They did an interestingly functional PT one, for example.

IIRC, the bundle version of Fortnite also includes a bunch of in game content for free on top.

Tumblr memery, primarily. I follow several wlw blogs and they reblog stuff about the game and it gets reblogged and there's a fluffy pink cloud of 'unf's directed at her biceps in most of the posts about this game on my timeline. I know it's not representative at all, but it's *very* visible.

Better in what way, though? In that MG:SV doesn’t allow griefing? In that you can’t make a sword out of a helichopter blade in Fallout (or can you? that’s a thing more games should do)

Just in case, I want to remind you that Kassandra has a gigantic lesbian fandom. And lesbians do the ‘male gaze’ thing more than many straight men do.

I refuse to believe that with the UBIQUITY of Destiny 2's marketing they couldn’t guess it from the video alone. That game got advertised more than most Hollywood blockbusters, and I live in a country where video game ads on TV are as rare as punk rock unicorns.

The most puzzling thing is that unlike most other cases of “everyone only knows one song from this band”, it’s far from the best of White Stripes songs.

It's great and solid. The problem is, it should have shipped three years ago wback when Dead Cells, which does the exact same thing but with unique-r visuals and more varied mechanics wasn't a thing yet.
