Physical things that people collect require resources and energy as well, more usually. Do action figures, comic books, whatever people collect, spring out of thin air? Everything requires resources to produce. To specifically single out people who collect digital things as destroying the planet is pretty ignorant.

Completely new car designs have more issues than legacy designs. Not really a revelation, it’s common knowledge. 

These type of loans are the last course of action available for buyers with a history of non payment. No respectable bank is willing to do business with them. Nobody in that transaction, from the buyer, to the seller, to the bank, have any illusions that they are actually going to make all those payments. 

People didn’t buy those cars, which is why they stopped making them. That’s the opposite of your point.
