I kind of wanted this quest to be over, you know? Because, after yesterday, i was so excited about what would be next. But now i’m kind of disappointed. Kind of, because it was such a cool hunt and experience. Destiny is so hot right now (even more than Hansel). And thank you, Jason, for all of the coverage. It is

Bungie is obsessive about the number 7. It makes 100% sense that this would kick off today.

I am so glad I chose now to get into Destiny. The Taken King and all this Kotaku coverage has been great.

Destiny, a game that’s so good now I spend half my day wondering if we were all sucked into the Vex conflux with Praedyth.

Man this raid is so amazing that i almost cant believe it. And so many secrets! Cant wait for hard mode. My Samurai/Martian Matt Damon is ready.

It actually allows you to play Crucible for five minutes without your whole team quitting.

Probably... but you have to consider, Patrick... how badly do you want Three of Coins?

Try the new low resolution option that just debuted. It's helped me in low bandwidth situations.

And remember that it doesn’t need to be done right out the gate. If it takes a few weeks or even a month, so be it.

For what it’s worth, you don’t need to USE TLW, just equip it. Secondary, heavy, melee, grenade, and Super kills all count as long as TLW is equipped at the time.

I had to leave my apartment and go do homework at my sister’s just so I wouldn’t keep playing the other night. The Taken King has grabbed me back in.

  • Reforging is going to come back in some form or another.

some of us older folk do not have a circle of video game friends.

Crazy? It’s just 80% of the difference between the two items, and it rounds up. Ghostlolol has it right.

80% Rounded
So a light level difference of 4 will give you a full 4.

Kirk and I used to say, as we were complaining together about Destiny (while playing Destiny) last fall, that we were still playing because we knew Bungie had built the foundation of something really great, and we had faith that they’d keep building and improving until they nailed it. Glad we were right!

Destiny fans should be thankful that this was the game you picked last year to long term cover. Your non-stop articles, snark and deep digging, along with your amplfying of player voices when something sucks has likely done a lot to get Bungie to step up and improve the game. Just think of where they were and where

Right, yes, absolutely.

But they do make Destiny better because we told them to.

I feel similarly. Then again, when I tested this, the only exotics I got were year two versions of stuff I already had. Which actually made me feel less bad about doing it... I mean, I already have that stuff, you know?
