This is like some Disney sports movie finale. How awesome. Love the strategy and small plays Japan seems to be about in baseball. And the hype around their games is more like a European soccer match than an MLB game.

If I’m being honest, all of these new game modes look great to me. To the point where it’s kind of concerning. I know CoD always has insane numbers, especially around launch. But splitting the community on three platforms, then even further by a larger variety of game modes... I just hope there’s enough players to go…

And like Tennis, you need to listen to what they are saying so that you can return with anything (spotting their shot). Yeah I agree with that.

That last beta made me want to buy three copies.

Happy to see Collateral mentioned. I swear this movie completely vanished for a time. Wasn’t available through any digital means, not even for purchase. Still not really stream-able for ‘free’ anywhere still either.

I had to Google if there were any downsides to stealing or dueling. Just felt so wrong lol. I got over it though, basically everyone has empty pockets or battle wounds after I roll into a new town now.

What I like is they seem to realize how cliche some of these characters are and they just play into it. A lot of the dialogues with Cyrus come to mind where even the NPCs kind of roll their eyes at how ridiculous he is and how much of a cliche his character is.

I think I say this every time I comment on these posts but... I really wish concept art was more readily available for purchase. If and when I have my own home office, I would line the walls with stuff like this if I could.

That would be amazing. Heard 5 was the next best thing if you enjoyed 3, which I definitely did (Probably a top 5 RPG for me).

Totally get that but honestly, grinding EXP for characters is half the reason I play JRPGs to begin with.

Does everyone in your group receive EXP for battles or only the main party that is present at that time? Thanks!

As someone who never really got huge into ‘oldschool’ JRPGs, I am surprised how excited I am for Octopath Traveler. Can’t wait.
