Haha yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Allow me one final thought that I think doesn’t get spoken a lot in these discussions.

I am from America - that Cobra cost sounds insane, I live in NYC and Cobra is half that. Maybe you have kids? Or maybe it’s just different were you live? I dunno, I find that number to be extremely different from my own experience.

I wish I could downvote this to infinity. This is basically an argument that because there is a supernatural or nonrealistic element in the story it means all logic and rules are basically null and void and that’s just not how storytelling and suspension of disbelief works.

I actually did see a link to that story on Pajiba this morning and cleared up the rumor somewhat. But even so it’s still creepy and the fact it’s being made into a TV show after being on 3!? albums makes what may have started as an innocent flirtation into straight restraining order territory.

I’m not defending the song, it is incredibly shitty. I used to read a lot of music websites back in the day and some random things just stick.

But wasn’t the backstory of that song the lead singer was stalking Delilah, that she was the girlfriend of a friend? That was the rumor back then about the song.

FYI, some of the Amazon reviews for these products are pretty terrible.  Seems like there are lots of connection issues and the bulbs rely on Eufy servers for connectivity. I’m sure these are popular due to price, but perhaps the quality isn’t quite on par with something like Philips Hue...
