I’m ashamed to admit I recently read an interview with her that told the whole story. Mostly because my exwife played it incessantly, so when I saw the headline I couldn’t resist...

“Delilah” is Delilah DiCrescenzo, evidently a somewhat well-known professional runner who missed the Olympic team by a hair a few years

I have a bunch of them, and they’re “fine” for the price, but you’re not wrong...

I get an instance once every couple of months where Alexa simply can’t talk to them. No amount of rebooting or re-linking them seems to make a difference, they just can’t communicate with my Echo devices. Then inexplicably an hour or two

I have to wonder why they don’t just focus on coin-ops instead... Especially since they could cheaply get cabinets for a lot of retro “console” games anyway...

Buy a few PlayChoice 10 cabinets, a Punch Out or two, a Ghosts N Goblins, etc... set them all to Free Play, and you’re not that far off from what they offer

Wow, no kidding, you’re absolutely right. I hadn’t seen this before, but I just read an article about a group that cracked the Ps4 with some exploit, which allowed them to run Ps2 games on what they claim is system-level emulation software.

That’s nuts. I guess the only thing actually keeping Sony from allowing BC(at

Ah, fair enough. I have my Ps2 hooked up through component cables into an HDMI converter, but I don’t think I’ve ever put a PS1 disk in there... I just use the Ps3 for that.

It’s definitely a labyrinthine nightmare of cables behind my entertainment center with a bunch of converters, switches, and splitters, so I could

Just out of anecdotal curiosity since I see this get brought up a lot... Do you have no current way of playing Ps1 games? Did you sell your older consoles as you went forward? What exactly is the benefit in BC going back that far?

I get the appeal of 360/Ps3 titles that may have run at 720p or something getting a

I bought that travesty... At a point in my minimum-wage earning teen years where that was an entire week’s pay too. When I found out years later that it was never actually a SF game and they had just slapped a different sticker on the US version to fool us, it made so much more sense. So, so bad.

They sell articulated versions of a handful of them now called “Toy Box Figures” based on the same designs. Exclusively at the Disney Store I believe. The Star Wars ones still look great, the Marvel ones have lost some of the magic int he process.

That’s not a coincidence... Peter’s character in Pixels was directly intended to be a parody of Billy.

Todd Rogers already holds that record.

I’m not suggesting there couldn’t be more done, (or that some aren’t poor stereotypes) but the industry has gotten noticeably better with character diversity it in the past few years for sure.

Just off the top of my head: Mafia 3, GTA3, GTA:LCS, GTA5, Crackdown, Prototype 2, Assassin’s Creed:Liberation, AC:Freedom Cry,

Exhale chief. I made a respectful, lighthearted joke about what you said, there’s no reason to get all worked up. (Might also want to employ some basic grammar skills if you’re going to make condescending claims about writing in crayon, but that irony is probably lost on you.)

It’s estimated to have sold 2 million headsets and 10 million games as of December of last year. That far surpassed their original estimates for sales, by a landslide.

They have not neglected it in the least by the way. It continues to be supported larger than a lot of us even expected by both indie and big dev houses.

You may have a little trouble getting the camera positioned properly in that tight a space (I think they recommend 6 feet from you IIRC), but there’s certainly a bevy of games you could play in that limited an area. Very few titles really require a whole lot of actual movement.

I would wager your biggest issue would

Haha, I think you need to rewatch Lawnmower man sir... Outside of the spinning orbs of death they’re strapped into, PsVR games are miles beyond the VR seen in that movie.

Superhot, Doom, Skyrim, Wipeout, Farpoint all come to mind... So, that’s 6 AAA titles that are all fantastic. Not too shabby for exclusive must-play games a year and change after a hardware release.

I couldn’t name that many Xbone games I feel that way about, and I don’t regret buying that...

If you’re talking specifically about PsVR, I’d personally be pretty surprised if there was another iteration of it. It’s done much better than Sony estimated it would, but not well enough to justify the risk of making another version. Especially now that the VR media hysteria is fading.

Besides, the console VR

Yep. I live upstate, so it’s slightly less egregious when they leave it out there, but there’s still foot traffic in my neighborhood, so it’s not ideal.

The maddening thing about it at my place is that the outer/vestibule door doesn’t even lock on my building, which they are well aware of since they intermittently

UPS used to do this to me constantly. I eventually opened an account there, called their customer service department and had them make all deliveries on my account default to “leave if no answer”.

Granted, I did have an instance where they said they left it and it wasn’t there when I got home (likely went to the

I’d say I’m getting hit worse... I’m 42, have an absolutely perfect driving record and pay just under $2,200 a year for a single car. (Comp coverage on a 2012 Camaro, in NY.)
