Hah, same here. I keep seeing these posts about how current owners are going to feel duped or lament their purchases... yet I don’t see any actual owners saying that. This update means nothing to me. Even if I had this HDR issue, I would have solved it a year ago with a cheap third party switch box, same as I had to

Not sure I’d call it “duping” exactly... I don’t even have an HDR supported display device, so this means nothing to me. Also, even if you did need what this update offers, you wouldn’t have to replace your unit, there’s nothing here an external switcher couldn’t have solved for $15.

This is just for people who might

Hah, I love when people who don’t have a thing, tell us why we shouldn’t have bought the thing... I have owned about a half-dozen different VR setups over the years, and PsVR blows them all out of the water. It’s a fantastic device. I’m not only satisfied with the purchase, I am continually ecstatic to own it, and the

It has one thin cable to the headset... The rest all go in or come out of the breakout box, no different from any other console or electronic device.

Beyond that, if you position your devices correctly, that single cable runs down your back, across the floor behind you, and you rarely ever notice it’s there. I won’t

I loved both games, but I’m not blind to their problems; I just didn’t care. It got me in the Matrix, and that was good enough. I’m totally with you on the boss battle though, that was not great.

You bring up a super-interesting point about the Oracle’s path that I have never considered or even heard speculated before

Haha, watched it? I freaking adore it sir... The whole franchise really. I think the sequels are some of the most underrated scifi films in modern history.

I don’t think the Matrix AI ever came to the actual conclusion they needed to eradicate mankind to survive though. They made no acts of violence towards humans

I don’t think the Matrix AI ever came to the actual conclusion they needed to eradicate mankind to survive, they made no acts of violence towards them at all

Except there’s already a prequel to The Matrix, and Skynet makes zero sense in that lore anyway...

The AI/Robots of The Matrix stories didn’t take it upon themselves to wipe out mankind, they were forced into a war, and just happened to be way more efficient at it then men were. They are sympathetic characters in the

I don’t think it’s even a matter of time/ability... More just lack of awareness, and beyond that, intimidation at the process. Whether or not that is warranted doesn’t even matter.

If my g/f wanted to play Atari games, did a perfunctory Googling on how to do that, and was shown the contents of a Pi kit... she would

Pretty sure ‘browse the web’ is just code for watching porn. So, yes. The answer is yes.

I assume you’re lamenting the lack of mutants, and I’m with you, but it has to be said... That’s not MvsC; that’s X Vs SF.

This. Prior to the last few Netherrealm games, MvC2 was the shining example of how to make a fighting game fun for single players. NR kicked it up a notch in Injustice 2 with their Multiverse (which is addictive as hell), but a simple collecting mechanic like MvsC2 would be more than enough to keep me playing against

I think he’s a Werewolf there... IIRC, he was in that early 90s “Wolf” movie with Nicholson.

It kind of frightens me that in 2017 there are still people who say “blasphemous”, unironically...

Hahah, uh... median income in Stillwater is about 50 grand. Yes, versus Saratoga proper you’re talking a massive discrepancy in income, but of course you are. Stillwater is considered lower middle class, not some horrible down-trodden area.

There’s certainly more hunters and fishermen and whatnot there than in Albany,

Just the gifs on here are enough to instantly ignite the warm fuzzies and make me want to play some AoE2. (Or better still, Galactic Battlegrounds...)

Even outside of the glorious methodical pacing, the thing these games did the best, that I have never seen anyone improve on, was the defensive city building and

Hah, fair enough on the premature aspect... IIRC, the Complete edition of part one was announced like six months after the game launched, and as someone who bought every piece of DLC for it piecemeal (for well over $100 total), I was rather annoyed.

They really can’t do that this time though... The Ultimate Edition

I hope you mean Xmas 2018, cuz there’s no way the complete edition will be out this year... We have another 6 months of DLC, at the bare minimum.

Interesting. I don’t think they had the whole “no adults without children” rules when I was a kid (in the 80s), but I had heard they do that now. I see those signs at a lot of places I take my son to these days though; seems to be pretty commonplace.

Heh, but then again, they also sold beer at CEC’s when I was a kid

Yeah, that’s the part that really bums me out. That place is burned into my brain for life; it was so important to us growing up.

I brought my son into the reboot version once, and I will very likely never bother taking him back. They have a better arcade at Walmart and a better playground in the park on my street. So
