I couldn’t help but think the same thing through all of this... My son’s only four, so I sincerely doubt he’s getting much personal bias in the classroom yet, but good lord, if this is in his future, I am seriously concerned.

I find it disturbing as hell to see so many teachers freely admitting here to doling out

“the people who elected Mr. Trump did so because they are angry, because they are scared, because they feel left out.”

Yeah, that sounds similar to what I experienced... I can pair to both devices at once, and they show as active, but if I have this thing turned on and I get a call, my bluetooth hands-free doesn’t actually get any audio through it. I have to turn this thing off first.

Still worth the $10 (to me) though; it is easily

Um, I was speaking from experience to some degree, hence the reason I answered it at all... I’ve tried both sides of that equation; both pairing my phone with multiple Bluetooth speakers (which is essentially what we’re talking about here), and pairing multiple devices to one speaker. In both cases, I couldn’t be

I felt similarly... till I got this one. As I mentioned, this was my fourth attempt at buying one of these, and the first one that I actually enjoy listening to music through.

I bought a couple of similarly priced ones that were just terribly prone to static and noise, regardless of what stations I chose. I shelled

Werd. None of them are as clear as a straight Bluetooth connection (not passing over FM), but of the handful I’ve tried, including ones that cost 4X as much, this was hands-down the winner, and the only one I actually enjoy listening to music through, especially at any reasonably-loud volume.

Some of it will obviously

Well, it will certainly work, but I’m not entirely sure you’ll get the results you want out of it. As in, I doubt you can have both active at once.... You can pair multiple Bluetooth speakers to a phone, but (as far as I’ve seen anyway) only one can actually receive the live signal at a time.

I’d wager a guess that

Never going to happen unfortunately. You (meaning those of us that would purchase the whole game at a single price) simply aren’t the customer they care about.

The entire freemium model is centered around that 0.1% of addiction-prone players who will just keep funneling money in. I listened to a podcast recently where

Wicked-solid piece of hardware... I have 4 different versions of these things, and this one is hands-down the best. Most have terrible static/noise, or distortion, but outside of the very highest volumes (where it can get a little scraggly), this one sounds great.

Also has two USB charging ports (one more than most),

Well, my phone is a given regardless, but yeah, unless I’m just running to the store or something, I almost always bring my Shield. I carry a backpack everywhere I go though, so it’s easy enough to just toss it in there... Switch has the benefit of what looks like a much more compact controller solution though. The

Well it’s definitely a Tegra chipset, which has uniformly been used for Android devices so far, and some rumors are suggesting this isn’t changing that, but regardless, it’s still not going to support the Play Store, so I doubt you have to worry about the Android services being an additional drain on the battery.

Yeah, it’s about as likely as the Switch having access to the Play Store either...

That would actually be a brilliant move since the hardware natively supports it and it would make this a replacement device (for tablets) rather than an additional one to carry (which is why my Vita and 3DS collect dust and my NVidia

It’s not trying to be a “handheld”, it’s a console that converts to a gaming tablet... It’s basically an upgraded NVidia Shield (even has an iteration of the same hardware inside) with more manageable controllers. Sign me up; the Shield is the most useful piece of tech I’ve bought in a decade. Granted the battery life

The client interactions are specifically what made me want out...

“Make this text pop more.” “Make this look cleaner.”, “Can’t you make this look more like (insert any famous brand)‘s logo?” Etc...

The actual graphic design part was fine, it was the submission, editing, re-submission cycle that made me want to blow my

I’m only a 6 or so hours into Darkest D, but I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve played of it on Vita... I mean, the interface is clunky as all hell, but it’s not really much better on Ps4, so it doesn’t feel that bad switching between the two.

Is it the size of the text that you’re basing this on, or is there some

Yeah, I’m with you on the touchscreen... Even if they do have that functionality, as you said, it obviously can’t be integral to the game experiences since you won’t have it in console mode. That said, without a touchscreen, my interest in this as a portable piece of hardware significantly decreases...

It’s too big to

It’s not like you’re playing against the house... The company only profits from the juice on entry fees, so it makes no difference to them who wins.

The only thing they can really do to make it “fair” is to let you see win/lose stats on your competitors so you don’t get eaten by sharks, which most of the big ones do.

So jazzed to see some positive impressions of this game; really hope it plays as well on PsVR. I’m super looking forward to finally getting that promised LawnMower Man flying experience I’ve been waiting 20 years for.

I’ll grant you that the Vita launch wasn’t exactly a media frenzy, but I don’t think there’s a supremely large subset of gamers who aren’t aware of its existence...

Vita surely has some problems, but I don’t think public awareness was the biggest one... My main issue with it was the lack of software support, and that

Hah, well you can do that now friend... Either put a big TV in your bedroom, or buy a Vita, Nvidia shield, laptop, or any of the other kajillion devices that will let you remote-play Ps4 games from the comfort of your bed.

You too can Praise the Sun from under the covers!
