I imagine he’ll go for the “magazines are failing angle” for the grain of truthiness in it.

I mean, most people were Team Kerrigan because Tonya’s people had Nancy’s knees capped.

Wasn’t she JUST taking heat for saying democrats had to work with Trump and meet him in the middle and compromise and whatnot? Good for her calling out Bannon though, I hope she keeps it goin.

Is that supposed to be One Eyed Willy? IIRC his skull lacked the second eye socket.

Still don’t get all the hubbub over the Rob Lowe assistant thing. Seems like basic assistant stuff for a celeb. Have stuff ready if they want it. That’s what a celebrity assistant does. I lift 25 lbs. in my job; not that crazy. It’s not like you have to pick all the non-green M&Ms out of a bowl with your teeth or

Free speech does not guarantee you a forum. You wanna spout your Nazi bullshit go to a street corner like the other ranting shouters of garbage. Book deals and college speaking engagements are not part of the first amendment.

Nah.

This is what annoys me when people say you can’t punch a Nazi.

Good for you champ. But your non-profit isn’t the norm. I’m not attacking your pay or whether you’re deserving of it, I’m just saying your experience isn’t the norm in the non-profit sector.

Yeah wtf. I worked at a non-profit and it was like, “hey hopefully we can make payroll this week lol”. I fought tooth and nail for every miniscule pay increase and topped out at about half what this personal assistant job pays.

Eh, those requirements don’t seem too bad? I mean, I wouldn’t do them, but I also wouldn’t apply to be a celebrity’s personal assistant. That kinda diva behavior is bound to come with the territory, and that doesn’t even seem too diva-ish.

I donated to the ACLU for the first time ever and it felt amazing. I plan on donating what I can to a different organization every month. We gotta do something, I’m sick of just whining on twitter.

I guess. I saw it; they performed well. Edward Norton always seems a little too good at playing the cocky asshole, and based on stories of his diva-like behavior, it may not be entirely “acting”.

Of course the Academy loves La La Land. They loved Birdman too. They love films that navel gaze about the whole craft of acting, film-making, and showbiz in general.

Yeah, stop criticizing the president! It makes his job hard! Nobody ever criticized Obama! /s

I try my best. I just think, for some (again, on all sides of the spectrum) fighting someone whose goals differ slightly is just easier than fighting someone who wants to put you in a camp, or take away your rights, or silence you, etc. etc.

I agree with what you say and I understand as much as it’s possible for me to do so without directly experiencing it (which is, admittedly, not saying a whole lot of anything really). I think, in general, everyone needs to do a better job of coming together and that clearly means white, straight, privileged people on

That actually does make sense. Which is why depression is the chief take away I get from this type of thing.

I don’t believe we (meaning democrats and liberals) should be homogeneous, but I do think we need to unite against a common enemy instead of making enemies within our own ranks. We need to fight back but it feels like we fight amongst each other more effectively.

I mean, I would agree with you on most other articles about critiquing the Women’s March, but this article in particular just seems to take issue with...assuming nobody’s really into it, I guess? I dunno, it just makes the assumption that because people at these marches were enjoying themselves and posting about it on
