Instagram is very anti porn/nudity, though they recently changed their Terms of Service to indicate that nudity in paintings and drawings was okay. However, it hasn’t stopped people from reporting pics of artwork that feature nudity, and subsequently getting those pics removed. They don’t follow their own ToS.

This article, for whatever reason, chooses to focus on D-List celebrities losing their organic reach on Instagram, as if this is the only group affected. There are many other people who use Instagram as an organic tool to promote their craft, art, etc. who will now have to probably pay money to get their shit seen by…

I don’t follow celebrities on Instagram, D-List or otherwise. This algorithm change will have serious consequences for people who use Instagram to share their artwork, which is a lot of people. Artists who have managed to build sizable organic followings will now have to find some way to fight to get their posts seen.…
