The market was in a downward channel for the better last half of Obama’s presidency. The huge rally to 20k came from Trump winning the election back in November. If you followed the stock market, you’d know this. That huge spike you see starting in November is referred to as the ‘Trump Bump’

This is a good thread. I don’t follow all of it, as economics is not my forte, but I follow enough. Keep it real, run for an economic office of some sort.
