Huh, I definitely played that game but I don’t remember its accessibility level at all, so maybe that means I agree!

I would love to see Square Enix take the concepts they pioneered with this game (new IP, unique battle system, amazing soundtrack, heartfelt character design, solid worldbuilding) and apply it to something new instead of another port or remake. :( This is one of my favorite games by them, hands down.
I think that game singlehandedly gave me tendinitis, but it was so good I played all the way to the end (and most of the end-game content) anyway.
LOL. So in other words, they’re going to cut their user base by at least 30-40 percent. Are they even still profitable at this point? I saw a Sprint commercial advertising “100 free Pokecoins!” and I felt so much secondhand embarrassment.
This only makes me wonder if it’s easier to jam CDs three deep into a drive that doesn’t have a little door/cover on it like they used to. I’m still mildly perplexed by that design decision.
But then how will we sell our entire library of games back to Gamestop for $2 in store credit????
Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe anything in my original post suggests that I think doctors, engineers, teachers, farmers, and tradespeople are overvalued. They’re all extremely important — there’s no question. I’m simply pointing out that many people see artists as privileged flower children…
Yeah, I’m only referring to cases of intellectual property theft here, or people who love an artist’s work but think they should just spend 30 hours drawing an illustration for free because “it’s easy” or “you’ll get exposure.” Those situations result from a devaluation of art as a whole, and it’s definitely a…
If an artist can’t sell their art, then it’s because it’s not anything that other people value.
Artists do it for themselves and the profit is a bonus. The term starving artist exists for a reason.
It sucks that as soon as artists finally find a viable way to make a living, there’s always some asshole out there spending all this time and effort just to ogle furry tits for free.
I was always taught to carry at least $50 on me (spoiler: I don’t). It’s not just for tips — one time I was in a liquor store with a bottle of tequila when the power went out. I just happened to have enough cash in my pocket to cover the cost. If you’re ever without electricity for long periods, like during natural…
I mean, yeah, if I had a one-night stand with someone I perceived to be a cis woman and found out she had a penis, I would be surprised. But you can’t deny that the messages conveyed in media have a substantial impact on what we are conditioned to see as normal and acceptable; thus, creators have to be held to a…
Eh, I guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree. I definitely think Prompto was the best developed of all of them, particularly because of that hotel scene. But there was A LOT of confusion about his backstory even after it was revealed, which comes down to poor execution on the part of the writers. People thought he…
I don’t recall any butler dying.
That’s awesome! I just got my first cashback credit card a few months ago. The credit limit isn’t nearly high enough to use as my primary account, but that’s definitely what I’m working up to.
Sorry, when I said “the parts leading up to it” I wasn’t referring to the ending itself — I meant the massive plot points they glossed over from the very beginning, such as the Fall of Insomnia, the Kingsglaive, what happened to Gladio, Ignis, and Prompto’s families, why we were supposed to care about a butler dying…
I don’t usually cancel, but oh my god does it feel good when the other person flakes first.
Saving is such a thorny subject for me, but I guess my tips are:
Yeah, that’s why I tacked on the “co” at the end. Whoever wrote this still built it based on his foundation, and Tabata is part of the Final Fantasy Committee so I doubt he had zero input either way.
