It’s a shame, because while I empathize with mothers who feel trapped/suffocated by their social programming, at that point they are adults. They have agency that their children do not, and when they choose to just “grin and bear it” or “complain but do it anyway,” they’re setting bad examples for their kids…

So I’ve noticed that there are thousands of articles and books about division of labor and gender roles and how they can negatively affect the stability of a marriage, and the counterpoint of how even though it’s hard having kids it’s still the most **REWARDING** thing you can do, but I don’t think I’ve seen anything…

The real question is: What can we do about it? I’m assuming Congress would have to be involved in determining whether he’s mentally unfit, and they’re all selfish assholes. So what’s our other option, hoping he dies and being stuck with Pence?

How do people even keep track of whether Mercury is in “retrograde” or not? Like, I doubt any of these people have telescopes. So what, some rando writes a column and everyone just takes their word for it?

I’ve never seen a roach inside a residential building, thank God. I had maggots last year and I was freaking out for months... if I start seeing roaches I’ll probably die.

The real question is: Are they actually teaching kids how to navigate these in driver’s ed now? Because it’s bad enough all us olds have to figure out how to use them without a million extra anxious teens added to the mix.
