You’re welcome.

Here’s a neat little pdf which explains Australian Consumer Law.

Blah blah blah consumers fault blah blah blah don’t care.

Say you bought one of those “games” that quite literally refuse to run for anyone, that constitutes a defective product.

Thanks, Australia, for the refund system.

Good. Wish more countries would hammer down on the anti-consumer antics of digital store fronts like Steam and many others.

The potato salad thing is real, in case you forgot about it.

I disagree. He shouldn’t admit or clarify anything. His game, whatever it maybe is perfect as it is. This tiniest hint of doubt in the back of my head just tells me that Davey is human. Game or no game. Davey’s feelings that were poured into making this game were real, even if Coda wasn’t. I don’t need any more

That theory seems so far out of left field tho

No, you’re missing the point. The entire thing is a fictional story. It’d be like releasing a fictional snuff film in which the narrative suggests that it’s a documentary. That doesn’t somehow make it real.

So basically, gaming has caught up to the narrative complexity and sleight of hand seen in the world of novels and film for decades, and people can’t grasp it?

The entire time, I assumed this was all fiction. I still think it is. The point was to make you think it was real, proven a success by the likes of this non-story.

If you cannot handle an unreliable narrator, don't seek challenging narratives.

I have to ask, was this post needed? Did we really need to bring this to anyone's attention? Not hating, just wondering.

Still, it's worth noting just how often Japan gets used as a scapegoat, a get-out-of-jail-free card that can come into play whenever people discuss sexuality and nerdy things. The way some people pose it, anything hailing from or influenced by Japan is immune to criticism, because being critical is the same as being

Well, as long as the viewers and makers understand the difference between fantasy and reality, and are sensitive as to where they consume and release such materials, then I'm okay with this.

To be honest with you, I don't have a problem with this. While it isn't my kind of thing, a lot of research has shown that both men and women have these kind of 'rape fantasies', and this porn is obviously causing no one harm to produce.

If they could do everything else besides the rape part would this article be on kotaku? Lke if they could teleport people around, blow them up, become stuck to them, etc.... like everything else showcased would we have gotten an article? Or is it only cuz of the "rape" that this warrants the headline and the article?

We've reached out to Rockstar to ask about mods like these, and will update this post if we hear back.
