We’re now to the part of the movie where the bully gets his comeuppance. We all instinctively feel it.

My wife and I are literally gleeful discussing this, because we FINALLY feel like she HAS his number! No more of this Mike Dukakis “I can’t believe I’m losing to this guy” SNL nightmare.
It was a brilliant move; she tried about ten different angles in the debate, knowing one of them would land a punch to a soft target. When he reacts, she runs the ad twisting the knife in that soft target. He can’t let it go, the feedback loop intensifies, and he’s on his heels for the next debate.
This is really going to sound like I’m reaching and grasping... but do you think, if Sarah Palin wasn’t considered “MILF Hot” by Republican men at the time of her ascendency, her crap would have been given even a bit of leeway?
Not to get Jezebel in your Deadspin, but it was always going to be this case because of the gender difference. Trump’s leeway is entirely “boys will be boys”-based.
Give it a few years, he may be on EVERY dollar bill.
Nice ambiguity +1
Fallon is a fucking traitor.
If he’d just make out with Hillary already he’d catch it!
“Safe spaces” is being used as an excuse on both sides, a way to pander to people who actually think they’re useful and a winking dog whistle to people who laugh at them... which I have to assume is most everybody because it really feels like what everyone older than 30 is joking about when they hear about “college…
He’s a smarty, to quote Mel Brooks.
Matt Lauer is like that weatherman on your local station who is somehow way more famous than the other people in the news room, but for no discernible reason that has anything to do with the quality of work he produces.
Exactly; I’m an old who went to U of O in the mid 90's, but I don’t get the hate on safe spaces. I was closeted for much of my young life and learned very early on that most spaces (back then) were unsafe spaces to reveal who I was. Distinguishing and wanting spaces where people feel safe to be who they are without…
Donald Sterling always turned a profit putting a sub-standard product on the court. It’s only because he was a raging racist that anything changed in his company. And, in all honesty, it’s only because most owners are using sports teams as metaphorical boners to swordfight with that any sports team tries to be good at…
Lore-wise I bet its to time-travel on the same planet... but game-wise I doubt they are active objects yet (i.e., there’s probably no way to do anything with them right now).
The legend will NEVER die.
And I just got mega-ungreyed! WOO! Watch me with my bad self!
Gen X is just hitting the spotlight for running shit, so now is our time to shine. We’ve been stuck in middle management, those of us who weren’t laid off in 2000 or 2008 and had to start over... but now we’re starting to hit C-level positions of power, and getting old enough to run for office. It’ll be interesting!
We are privileged in our invisibility to the media. We get to choose who we support. We are the second silent generation.
Maybe he’s hoping to schedule some debates with her next February?
