I liked his singing fine, but man oh man, he could act up a storm. He had a real solid presence, even in movies that weren’t worth his time.

Amazing human being.

Oh no!  But 96, not a bad run at all, and what a life.  I loved him, and even got my little kids into his music.

Uptown Saturday Night is an excellent movie but my favorite of his is The World, the Flesh and the Devil. Worth seeking out if you’ve never seen it.

I believe I’ve read that he credited his Muppet Show performance for his return to fame at the time. It’s certainly how many people of a certain age (i.e. mine) have known him their whole lives.

What an incredible life lived. R.I.P.

Harry Belafonte: Patriot”

Well he sure as hell earned it. Also, while it may seem odd to single out a person’s Muppet Show appearance in their obituary, it really is a phenomenal episode. Belafonte was a natural in front of the camera, the musical numbers are great, and he meshed with the Muppet performers like few

We’ll miss you, Harry, and your lifetime of accomplishments, not to mention one of the most instantly recognisable opening notes in all of music.

Coincidentally I was watching the latest season of Vox Machina not that long ago which made me think, man, Reddick has been busy lately both in live and voice acting, which made me google him, which led to quite

Final destination, steve, no items.

Personally, I wish that Italy in general was as proud of all their pop culture products (these guys were the kings of cinema and music not that long ago!) as they are of their food.

What an excellent story all-round. A great click-baitey title, followed by superb research, multiple angles of commentary, a lingering mystery, and actual insight into the gaming industry and how it fits into politics and culture. It’s got it all!

“Everything on the internet that is slightly out of alignment with my views is a personal attack on me.” -OP

More like “Right wing (govvies make) bad (game).”

So, obviously that’s not what the article is saying, but whatever. No one here is pretending you read the thing.

Hehehehe you think they read it. That’s funny.

Is that all you got out of it?  You should slap your elementary school teachers for failing to teach you how to comprehend what you’re reading.
