As a matter of fact, he is. Tabloids frequently cover his relationship with girfriend Julian Hough (sp ?) and he's frequently referred to as the hardest working man in Hollywood, although he has no discernable talent.

So I ask again, how much different is she than the average celebrity? Why is it that she warrants soooooo much extra criticism for "worthlessness." How much does a regular joe who works retail do to "benefit society." Not everybody is/can be a professional philanthropist/vegan animal rescuer/whatever.
Oh come on now, I think the vast majority of pregnant mothers care about the baby more than their body, but that doesn't automatically make any concerns about the latter magically disappear. It's not a zero sum game. I can't blame Kim, especially the way the paps made a special project out of hounding Jessica Simpson…
I know we're supposed to hate Kim Kardashian with the fire of a thousand suns, but I've never understood the "she does nothing" criticism. She's always doing promotions, photo shoots, hawking her various businesses, seems to be in 50 places at once, and all while looking gorgeous.
I think Kelly Cutrone is the best living imitation of Lena Dunham.
My problem with Sephora is that I've always had bad skin (now my raging acne has turned into much more manageable enlarged pores, scarring, ice pick marks, and blackheads—aka textured skin) and the thought of being under that much bright light and under that much scrutiny from the black-shroud employees makes me sweat…
You're right about not making astrology based legislation. But the number of conversations that have been co-opted by astrology .... AAAGHHHHHH!
You know what drives me crazy? Atheists who are into astrology. Like, you believe religion is bullshit, yadayada, then you want ramble on about some stars or whatever. Such a waste of time!
It took me the entire article to realize that by Monster, you weren't referring to Lady Gaga and her empire!
Honestly, I didn't see it as body snarking. I mean, the very insinuation that a Taylor Swift type of figure is soooo difficult to dress is laughable. Even at our height (we're both 5'11), the biggest issue we have is ordering longer jeans.
But let's be honest, all objectification is not the same. You are not feeling the scrutiny at anywhere near the same level as a larger person. And by saying "we are all in this together" you are acting like it's some crazy outside force versus all women. Thin women like us benefit from the subjugation of larger women,…
Well, I hear this sentiment quite often at jezebel. And I believe that thin women taking SUCH issue with these kinds of comment is a result of privilege being checked, as they're not used to anything less than adulation.
I agree. I'm tired of hearing thin women on here complain and pretend like a few remarks from heavier women is on par with the constant scrutiny, character judgements, and sheer hatred that is levied against larger women.
Oh come on now, I'm a thin woman but I think it's extremely disingenuous for other thin women to pretend to be blind to their privilege. 99% of society puts thinness on a pedestal and shits on anyone who is not, so PLEASE don't pretend like a disparaging comment from a woman who is not thing is THE WORST THING EVER.…
The biggest problem that I have with this "guide" is that it's just not accurate and quite arbitrary (oh, it's also condescending, stupid, etc etc). Body shape guides can actually be an incredible resource for those who actually SEEK to add balance to their frames, but at least include helpful guidelines that rely on…
That makes sense, I'm just being stupid.
Riiiigggghhht?*
I hear ya. I honestly have no problem with them, my post was really all fun. It's mostly laziness on my part.
No, looks like you can't. I enjoyed the vid, and my comment was a joke. Besides, there does tend to be a "type" that leans more toward the Diva Cup: the save-the-whales-moon-goddess-drum-circle- raw-vegan-all-organic-everything kind of lady. Nothing wrong with that, lighten up.
This is childish, but any time I've read/heard someone extol the wonders of the cup, my eyes glaze over. There's something about the culture of the diva cup that turns me off.
