I regret to inform everyone that the greatest SUV of all time is no longer available to purchase new. It was, and will always be, the Honda Element. It was too good for us, and we didn’t realize what we had until it was gone.

This is a bit of an odd decision but I understand it. I just think that over this year Kimi has actually showed more pace than Vettel throughout the year (and way less mistakes) even with Ferrari catering to Seb. Maybe they want someone more keen to take team orders, but I will miss Kimi in a red Ferrari. Hopefully…
So again Ferrari descends…
They had it good this year, but Vettel messed it up as if the latter part of 2017 was a dress rehearsal for much of 2018. Even when they get Kimi to do the smash-into-Hamilton job at Silverstone, (Vettel’s hands are clean) the big picture does not play out to their favor.
Leclerc seems a…
To be fair about Kimi’s Instagram:
Just leave him alone; he knows what to do.
Seems to me that Kimi has figured out that winning races is not the only job in f1. Maybe he enjoys developing the cars and working with the rest of the team to reach their goals. I would take that job.
One could argue very strongly that last weekend Ferrari’s team strategy for him f*cked him over. He was following their orders and it completely ruined his tires.
For anyone interested, Kimi’s instagram is wonderfully entertaining in a way that only his could be. Picture of him captioned “I have mastered the selfie” picture of him in a city “nice city” chilling at home with ice cream “ice cream o’clock”. Either his PR team is great or he’s having fun with his fans.
Kimi is third in the driver standings at the age of 38 and after being butt-raped by his team on several occasions, yet people are puting him down. Guy is a natural and still could have won a championship if he hadn’t had to play second fiddle to Vettel.
Lotus Raikkonen was one of the best Raikkonens
Lets be real Charles. You’re not on the Ferrari team to go for the World Championship. You’re there to be a rolling roadblock for Hamilton, Bottas, Ricciardo, and Verstappen. And MAYBE get a lucky win every now and then when the strategists fuck up and screw over Vettel.
He still gets to race in F1, still gets good money, probably gets to hold on to a Ferrari or two, and will probably get an Alfa (or two). More importantly, we likely still get to see people try to figure out how to interview him after a race once in awhile.
Kimi is just too much fun to not be in F1... I hope someone picks him up for a broadcast spot, that would just be glorious.
The way people who’ve never been concussed talk about it can be so excruciating. My partner, who is generally wonderful, thought for years it was a funny party anecdote to bring up how I kept asking over and over again “am I dumb now?” on the way to the hospital after my last (and hopefully final) one, because to her…
My husband fell at work, just slipped and fell backwards on the floor, in 2008. He had a mild concussion, the imaging didn’t show any damage to his brain, but he has post-concussion disorder and he is permanently fucked up, from one mild brain injury. Going back to work was never an option for him anyway. He started…
I’ve had one concussion, relatively minor, when I was young and resilient (tackled in a pickup football game where I smacked my head HARD against a hidden flat rock in the grass) but I still remember the fog, not remembering which team I was on, and not quite remembering where my house was or how to get home. I had a…
Oh man. That fear about losing your job is horrifyingly real. I remember being terrified that Jalopnik of all places was going to fire me for being out too long when I had my concussion a couple of years ago. We’re even part of a network that consistently advocates for the athletes who we cover to take better care of…
The Camaro is a unique looking, fantastic performing car that I would never want to own. At its price points there are too many other options that don’t have the same compromises as it does.
I think the parts about the car being less unique or more boring than the Mustang and Mopar offerings is silly - the Camaro is far more ditinct than those.
