The electronics can be questionable on these. The driver’s door handle had one of the first “unlock when you touch it while holding the key” setups. They short out and either kill all power to the interior or burn your hand. Other than that, these admittedly are pretty cool.

Very good points. Popularity-wise, ovals just aren’t what they used to be. I’ve been to New England Dragway, and while it’s a ton of fun, and the fact that the pits are wide open for anyone to walk in and check things out is awesome, it’s kind of a one trick pony of a place.
