Yes, Diane is...livin’ on Tulpa time.

As Dougie Jones said: stick a fork in it.

Eraserhead highly recommended for this reason

…and that's why so much 80s music is unlistenable today, the end

I just want to see Ike, just one more time. Gimme some Ike man.

I was hoping ZZ Top would appear in a fade-in, like they do in the video. Would've fit.

I'm glad Evil Coop carries a pen and notebook. Very handy. I bet he also has a little travel-pak of Kleenex in his pocket.

Lynda Barry. Nobody cares and it kinda breaks my heart, because her work is so perfect and beautiful and sad and life-affirming. I bought my teenager daughter "The Greatest of Marlys" and she never even cracked the cover. But I sure as hell did.

I think he's fisting us.

I've been hoping someone will do a post dedicated to The Lamps of Twin Peaks. Season 3 has been a cornucopia of delight in this regard.

Rosalita

Also my least favorite, had a lot of forward motion to start and then puttered out, at least in terms of energy. Audrey and Cole scenes were both enjoyable and maddening (by design.) Not sure why we needed Dr Amp again.

I remember him explaining afterward something to the effect that "rock and roll is a dirty business" and my first thought was, what do you have to do with rock and roll?

Tomorrow's the 11th, Dude.

I still have the LView Pro executable from 1998 (or so) and install it on every computer I use. It's quick and familiar and i'm a dork.

Excellent choice, I would take the live version on Yessongs (as I would in general for all the great Yes tracks - just a bit more..ummm…lively.)

Nina Simone's piano solo in "My Baby Just Cares For Me" is a remarkable, and delightful, 60-second marriage of jazz, blues, pop, and classical influences (come to think of it, like her musical career itself.)
