apparently it doesn't matter how simple or complex your passwords are if someone can plunder them and put them in a big goodie bag online.

I didn't have the same problem with Amazon on my Nexus One. I uploaded some music to Google but I don't really have a reason yet to play with it too much. It doesn't seem to do anything Amazon doesn't and how many redundant streaming services does one need?

I just want to point out that the chart is misleading. As you yourselves point out in the body of the article iCloud does *not* stream. It makes your music available to download. That is such a major distinction.

It's not a portable gaming system. The console is doing all the rendering and is streaming to the controller. Probably blue tooth or something similar as you have to be in the same room as the system.

I don't like that it only has 2 track recording. For something this expensive you should be able to record a full band, or at least a drum kit, without needing an external mixer. It would be great to get something this small and simple to record drums. Right now this looks like a super expensive toy.

do we know that? I'd feel better buying something right now if there was an announcement that either of the awesome new phones from HTC and Sammy were getting Ice Cream natively, or if I can definitely unlock it.

As tempting as this and the Samsung Galaxy S II look, it seems like a bad time to buy any Android phone. If Ice Cream Sandwich is really going to be on phones by Christmas, you will be buying something right at the end of a product cycle. If you can hold out a few months, you probably should.

I assume Rolling Stone cares much more about print advertising revenue than digital subscriptions. I have been receiving the magazine for years without asking for it. I keep "becoming" a subscriber based on purchase history or organizations I belong to. I'm sure showing large circulation numbers for full page print

I'd disagree with your statement. I have a Nook, but I'm pretty sure it is just the same e-ink display as a kindle. It does not look like dots on a screen. It looks like book print. I can't read long form on any LCD screen without getting really tired (I actually read on the iPad to fall alseep at night) but e-ink

A lot of the games seem very obvious, I voted for many of them myself.

it supposedly had to do with how current Android chips handle DRM on the hardware end. So hopefully more and more compliant Android handsets will start emerging.

to an extent. I think Nintendo has to take some responsibility for their own plight. They really went all in with the Wii, being such a *specific* system and never getting great third party support. Once their first party games slowed to one or two big ones a year the system lost a lot of steam. If anything, if

I don't think he's saying gamers are racist. I think he's saying the standard "look" of Japanese games are going out of favor and the type of photo realistic games made in European and American studios are more in vogue.

as long as it is not their primary revenue stream Amazon can do it indefinitely. Especially since Amazon wants everyone signing up and experiencing their cloud services in advance of Apple unveiling theirs. Good will and market share is worth the investment of losing a couple bucks on single track sales.

Why would you pay money to pirates? Either buy music legally or pirate it. But paying someone for pirated music is just ridiculous. I just looked on that site and not only are they based in the Ukraine they are illegally selling my album for $2.88. Awesome, just awesome.

Even normal sitting still play can break the effect. You really have to keep it on a table. Just sitting still with it in your hands causes frequent break-ups and ghosting.

I was not going to buy the 3DS at all. But I do have disposable income, I'm a gadget whore, and a sucker for 3D. So fine. I saw it on display at Best Buy and bit.

I was going to continue my progress in Portal 2 tonight and now I can't because PSN is down. You monsters.

God Damnit now I can't unsee that.

the New York Public Library has a pretty amazing selection. You should be able to browse your local library's website and see what they've got even if you aren't a member yet.
