@mjnbrn: for now that is the least of my worries. The N1 has basically no space for apps, and very few app makers (including GOOGLE) have full move to SD option. It is very frustrating. I have a 16 gig SD card in what was Google's premier phone before yesterday, but I can only use about a half gig of the phone's

@mjnbrn: if a major gaming company is going to do an Android release they are probably going to want it to be somewhere centralized rather than rogue. They also wouldn't want to have to deliver it in a way that would make the luddites or clueless people nervous about switching their security settings...

@ch0diac: not with the 50 mb limit on the Android Marketplace :-(

@matt buchanan: Bummer summer. The first time my N1 hasn't done something magical.

The 3d zoom is SO AWESOME and when it draws buildings they come out of the ground like Inception or Dark City.

@RabidTurtl: totally, but this is a matter of setting up (potentially) diminished expectations.

Weren't Assassin's Creed and Gears of War announced up front as trilogies as well?

@tomsomething: actually, they have already confirmed NO OVERAGE FEES so they probably just lock you out. There are also no contracts, so if a person doesn't think they're getting good value that month they can cancel and go back to wi-fi only.

@tomsomething: I think you are being overly cynical with your french fry analogy.

@tomsomething: unless I'm reading wrong, you get 100 megs a month FREE. If you plan to consume data, then you can buy a contract free plan.

I like the idea of 100 megs/month free.

@Spaceboy: If three glasses of wine and a Manhattan (nice underrated drink BTW) didn't help you understand Tron, being sober definitely won't!

yeah, anyone have word on the game? I also walked into this thinking I was getting a review of Evolution.

@infinitezero: this is a review of the movie, not the game.

@Scottermonkey: heh, I'm not blown away either but I also won't complain that the new phone doesn't make me want to throw away my current one (an N1 as well).

It is actually not the first. It is the first SHIPPING with Gingerbread.

@Jack Musick: I'm waiting for it myself! Starting down the phone like Chuck Norris isn't helping.

@Simon Bangs: I think banks have a pretty complex algorithm for what sets off their fraud-o-meter and what doesn't. Because I will get random calls too, but they'll leave me alone when I'm traveling.

@Simon Bangs: I just looked up Chip and Pin. That's ridiculous.
