Ventilator: complex machine with microchips and thousands of parts that helps sick people breathe.

I don’t understand why people are so obsessed with means testing payments when you could just solve that with a progressive tax. Say every adult gets $1,000 a month plus $500 per child for 4 months. In the same bill, put a time-delayed progressive income tax on 2021 incomes over $100k. That way you’re getting the best

Not sure if this is sarcasm or not...

I still believe there is value in being physically located together for my work - HOWEVER, my coworkers and I realized pretty quickly that we could easily do our jobs just as well working from home 2-3 days a week.

The service part at the very least should stay open. If an ambulance needs new brakes and an oil change, they should be able to get it done asap. Lower priority, but I want all the doctors, nurses, delivery people etc to have vehicles in top working condition.

Is it too boring/obvious to say F150?

I don’t think the grille is large enough and it certainly doesn’t have enough corners.

I agree that blame alone isn’t useful right now. However, it is important to recognize what mistakes were made, who made them, what can be done to not repeat those mistakes, and who needs to be replaced by someone more competent to mitigate the damage and manage the cleanup going forward.

Agree with the aesthetic evaluation. I pride myself on my ability to identify a car from a distance, but I’ll admit the first time I saw one of these coming towards me on the highway I thought “hey look, a McLaren!”. The rear end is unmistakably Chevy though. It still looks kind of cheap and plastic-y like most other

So is the coronavirus response in the USA more like TMI, Chernobyl or Fukishima in your opinion?

Can’t lose on the stock market if you don’t have any stocks in the first place!

The Alien movies seem to span class 4 and 7. The human-built ships are definitely class 4, the alien ships are hard 7s.

Money.

Agreed.

A 2-door bronco and a mach-e GT would be my ideal 2021 2-door garage if I had to stick with american brands only.

These types of voters are more upset by seeing one (usually non-white) person on welfare buying a $12 steak with food stamps than they are by the plutocrats that control their favorite party handing out billions of dollars of government money to themselves in the form of massive upper-income tax cuts, corporate

Brits choose their loyalties based on what makes them look good. There’s a funny Grand Tour segment about how they do this with Scotland.

The obvious answer is to do what 99% of other consumer products do: have independent authorized dealers while simultaneously allowing customers to buy from the manufacturer directly.

I honestly thought the original Galibier concept was gorgeous, especially in the black and chrome two-tone body. I can’t tell if this post is saying that the original concept was too ugly to begin with or if later iterations became abominations of the original good design.
