I was about to say this. The Portofino is one of the prettiest cars out there. It’s a classic shape with modern design elements and if you get it in a subtle color it’s actually pretty understated compared to most high performance GTs. It looks even better in person too because you realize how compact and tightly…
True. Weather is important and so is where your loved ones live. If your entire family and best friends all live in the Northeast, then moving to Austin probably won’t make you happier even if it’s a better fit on paper. Unless, of course, you have bad seasonal depression, in which case it might be worth it.
That interactive tool is pretty good. I put in my preferences and the top city is the exact city I’m extremely excited about moving to soon.
Unless your social life is centered around your workplace then I disagree. I’ve lived within walking distance or a 5 min drive to my office for 3 years and the whole time I wished I was living closer to family and friends because of how many things I was missing out on by living close to work instead of close to them.…
Pre-recession 2000s was the peak of automotive concepts and supercars. 80% of my dream cars are from that era. It was the final era of truly great manual supercars, which are all on my dream car list: Carrera GT, Ford GT, Ferrari F430 with a manual, Lotus Elise, Lamborghini Murcielago manual, Ferrari 575 Superamerica,…
This sounds about right. I worked with a dealership near an Air Force base and the most inquiries they got from military men and women were for Super Duties, F-150s and Mustangs.
I LOVE that. I also saw Nick Mason’s GTO in St. Johns Wood once parked on the street. It was during a car show, but still, it was just hanging out on the street in the drizzly London weather.
Cis male here. I care about abortion rights because first and foremost, my parents taught me that as a principle, every person should have control over their own body. In the case of abortion, the being who is already living, breathing and autonomous has the ultimate priority over what happens to their body. My…
It would be funny if Ben Carson would actually face any real consequences for being an idiot. But he won’t, so this is just depressing.
AMG GT for sure. I’d also submit the new MX-5 (especially the RF), Jaguar F-type, Lotus Elise, and then if we’re talking very high end cars I’d say the current Ford GT, any of the latest generation Aston Martin sports cars, the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso, Porsche 918, and the Cayman GT4.
I own a German car (2007 Cayman) and it has been *knock on wood* reliable so far with over 80k miles. However, there is a massive sticker shock for anything you do end up having to pay for. Essentially, everything is 2x more expensive than it would be on a “regular” american or Japanese car.
Nothing ticks off Niki like struggling to pass someone.
I agree with this. I like to treat my Cayman like a car and drive it in sun, rain and snow, wash it like a normal car and park it on the street like a normal car. I actually like it when a performance-oriented car looks like it has been used properly. My Cayman’s bumper scuffs and hand-worn shift knob give it…
This is the correct answer.
That’s probably what they want. It’s way cheaper to have a small office that people only use occasionally.
Open offices are especially tough for people with ADHD who have work that requires attention to detail on a computer screen or documents. As someone with Attention Deficit in an open office environment, my most productive hours are usually before 9:30 when everyone has arrived and has enough coffee to feel chatty,…
If you live in downtown Chicago, where a parking spot is $300 a month, gas is fairly expensive and your workplace is in the city, then ride hailing everywhere can easily be cheaper than owning a car.
Or you can just get a really nice version of an old bronco for that budget. But it really sounds like you want a Bronco.
Wait a year and get the Bronco or Baby Bronco!
